Arrested in police raids today. Quebec labor leader Michel Chartrand was among scores of people believed sympathetic to FLQ cause rounded up in Montreal. Yesterday (above) he stood scratching his head in mock amazement as troops poured into Montreal to take up guard duties in advance of the police raids in which Chartrand was picked up. He had publicly endorsed the FLQ manifesto.
