PAN5859-4 Viscount Bennett, former Prime Minister of Canada, known as the Empire builder, was buried at St Michaels, picturesque 14th century parish church of Mickelham, Surrey, yesterday, a few yards from the drive of the house where he lived in his retirement. The service was conducted by the Bishop of Guildford - Dr J. Macmillan.
Picture shows: amidst the scenery which he loved so much, the body of Viscount Burnett is laid to rest in the churchyard of St Michaels.
