The European flavor: Wandering the streets of Quebec city is like strolling through old Paris; the writer found when she visited the only walled city in the U.S. or Canada. Young lovers; pavement artists; fine food and the weathered gables of old buildings all added atmosphere and offered escape from the North American lifestyle. Though the trip back; in her case; was neither quick nor easy.
