 Despite the rain over 100 000 people stay for the third day of the Quebec National Holliday celebration and to listen to artist such as  Jean Lapointe, Louise Forestier and Plume Latraverse  Held on the Mount-Royal the 4 day event attracted a record 300 000 people on June, 23rd and his considered a peak in Quebec nationalist movement, only  a few months before the Parti Quebecois election on November 15, 1976.
