Marie-Christine Barrault

Born in Paris, she got her start on television, in L'??uvre, in 1967 and in the series Que ferait donc Faber? Her film debut was in 1969 in My Night at Maud's (Ma nuit chez Maud) in 1969. In 1970 Barrault was featured along with Pierre Richard in a comedy film Le Distrait (Absent-minded). In 1975 she starred in Cousin, cousine, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Other movies include: * Stardust Memories (1980) * Bonsoir (1994) She is the niece of actors Jean-Louis Barrault and Madeleine Renaud. Barrault's first husband was actor and producer Daniel Toscan du Plantier, with whom she had two children, David and Ariane. She was married to director Roger Vadim from 1990 until his death from cancer in 2000. They did not have mutual children.
