Prayers were answered when the village church in tiny St. Victor de Tring was left standing amid this scene of charred desolation after flames all but wiped out the wiped out the community 60 miles below Quebec. Every man; woman and child in the village knelt in the middle of the road to pray that their church be spared. Fifty buildings were destroyed<br />
